1.       Shut the water supplies off under the sink. If you do not have under counter shut-off valves, close the main water supply to the residence.

2.       Remove the old faucet and then clean the sink’s surface with mild detergent and warm water.

3.       Slide the base plate onto the threaded water supply inlets underneath the faucet.

4.       Apply a thin bead of kitchen and bath silicon caulking all the way around the bottom of the faucet's base plate.

5.       Insert the faucet into the sink and center it over the sink’s faucet openings.

6.       Underneath the sink, screw the hot and cold plastic mounting nuts onto the threaded faucet supply shanks.

7.       Tighten the nuts using a plumber’s basin wrench. After tightening, check the faucet for center, it may have moved while tightening.

8.       Attach flexible water supply lines to each shut-off valve. Screw on the small 3/8 inch compression nut to the top of the valve by hand, and then tighten half a turn with a crescent wrench.

9.       Screw the ½-inch end of the supply line to the faucet’s threaded shanks by hand, and then tighten half a turn with the basin wrench.

14.   Screw the sink flange down onto the treads of the pop-up body firmly by hand.
